Does place matter?

We sold our house of of twenty years in 2013. It was the first house I ever lived in. It was in an historic district of Hollywood, Florida just six blocks from a funky beautiful beach .

Every year we updated something, taking care to keep what was great like the place for where a telephone would go, beautiful old tiles, and a lush tropical yard.
